Europe’s biggest test-event for e-mobility
E-mobility is on everybody’s lips at the moment: Electric-powered vehicles are quiet and highly energy-efficient; powered by renewable electricity, they do not cause any climate-damaging emissions and are economically viable. For these reasons, the government of Lower Austria has launched an action package for e-vehicles, resulting in remarkable growth rates of e-car registrations: every fifth e-car in Austria is already registered in Lower Austria.
The e-Mobility-Day on May, 20th 2017 in Melk, Lower Austria, is the biggest test-event for e-mobility in Europe: Doors open at 9 am. Between 10 am and 5 pm more than 50 e-cars (from Tesla to e-Golf), 150 e-bikes, e-motor cycles, e-scooters and other e-vehicles can be tested for free.
Inspiring lectures and exhibitions, music live acts, a varied children's programme and culinary delicacies are among other things part of the accompanying programme.
